Hi everybody,

Anybody here know if this dragline bucket comes with all the hardware (drag chains, suspended beam, pullies, etc) like the one made by TWH a few years' back ???? Think this is quite a beautiful piece for load or to put in a mining diorama !!!!

I believe it will be just as you see it in the picture. They're making it like that so it can be displayed on the new drake dragline bucket trailers. Would be nice to have one with the chains though.

They do,or should I say they used to make a fantasic model of the old 8750.

Yup.that is a 1/50th scale John Deere tractor at Norman's feet,

And yes,the original black 8750 bucket did come with all the relevent "jewlery",

I know catkom3, all 3 buckets made, the original black one, the Esco red AND the CQMS green with the bee on it did came with all the hardware... Too bad 'cause it was making great loads for small lowboys, like the chains... At that price range, think I'm gonna pass on that one, doubt that the mold to make this model cost a lot, details are not that hard to reproduce, such models like this (and the Bucyrus 495) should be made in resin or something less expensive, I have the Letourneau 55 yd bucket from Smith as a load, made in resin, was not too expensive, details are there for sure, so I guess a manufacturer that would step in that market, target the right pieces by doing a pole on some forums such as here, could make something good for a living, for example 3D to scale, which makes some small parts such as porta putty, barrels, traffic cones and others ... Weel made, easy to modify or paint (weather), we ordered some of their stuff for a fair amount of money and beleive they worth every penny...

My two cents

does anyone know if these will be available as a set with the transporter,or do you have to get the bucket separate and then buy the transporter?

The bucket and the Drake truck/trailer combo will be available separately only

Who made that 8750?
I've seen the Cat 8750 model at the proving grounds, it was cool but too big that's why someone (CCM or some company like that) needs to make an 8200

That 8750 was made by TWH:

Diesel Michael,

First, the bucket that began this thread is advertised as 1:50 scale.

Second, the Bucyrus 8750 dragline was produced by TWH in 1:50 scale.

Bucket comes with tie down chains and blocks to secure it to the trailer. I have seen this bucket and have all three of the TWH ones. The TWH buckets were sand casted where the new one has proper diecast tooling. This is by far a much better model.
