Road transport of the LCR Tractomas to an european harbour for export to Australia:

I think that Tonkin Replicas' 1st Nicolas model could be nominated for the Year 2014 Model contest arranged by Gus.

Sam, your post definitely deserves the award for "most wheels per pictures"... Wink

Still, interesting and dedicated custom work. Keep posting.

Hi Arnold,

Some people "contribute" to the forum in unusual and unintelligent ways. I hope that you can ignore them?

They say a picture says a 1000 words, so hopefully this might clear things up for the uninformed?

Hi All

I would not want that because of me that triggers a war between the various visitors to this forum,do not look for quarrels but enjoy the pictures of my models or do not open my page.
There is enough misery in this world, it's not worth the return on this forum, I think is really good.

Hi Arnold.

I see now that I was wrong, and you are not recreating the LCR set-up. Considering that the LCR coal train using the Tractomas can pull only 5 trailers with 2 front and 3 rear axles, what is this Mack hauling with 6 trailers with 3 axles front and rear? I am very curious.

Hi Weserhutte

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSka5RI4trI

The difference between the Tractomas and Mack Titan is the total weight moved, for Tractomas on each trailer there to 85 tons coal and a total weight of 585 tonnes.
For the Mack Titan road train with up to 130 t payload capacity, and a total weight of about 180/200 tons.
But then, I do not commit myself too much on the given weight,There is indeed an Australian colleague on this forum that can rectify my errors given for the road train Mack.
