Lost the info to get in touch with Tim to order his LR1750 pulley kit, that is if he is still making them. Any one out there who can help it would be most appreciated, thank you.

I've seen him logged in several times over the past several months so I know he's around. You should be able to PM him. I gave up trying to get his pulley set for the 1750 two years ago. Good luck.

"OK I know that there are quite a few of you that have bought pulley sets from this man. So I am trying this again, is there anyone who is in contact with Tim Clamp. Reason I ask is that I have tried everything I know to get a hold of him and with no success at all. Is he not making pulley sets, is he gone from the forum , anybody have any answers? i really need one of his sets to complete my LR1750 Mammoet crawler, any help would be most appreciated, thank you.

As far as I know Tim has stopped making the pulley sets, I seem to recall that once his stocks of sets had all been sold that was that, I am not sure if he ever visits the forum now or if his email is still the same, but I am sure he has his reasons so I can't vouch for him. If you are struggling to get said pulleys have a look on YCC website under retailers and contact them, YCC do a range of pulleys from 6mm up to 20mm not sure of prices, might be worth asking the host to order you them, one thing you will need quite a few. Sorry but that,s the best I can offer.

I'll second what Steve says - YCC pulleys are about as good as you'll get and you should be able to find them somewhere.
Short of going to another metalworking specialist, there's not much else you can do!

A quick check reveals that Tim was just logged in here yesterday, so if you have sent him a PM and he didn't reply it's safe to say he has nothing to tell you.

Yes, I tried through here and email and no answer, so if he isnt answering anyone that is pretty much an answer in itself. does anyone know anyone else who would make such a thing?

It's been a few years since I last talked to tim, I've lost his email. The thing with getting ycc pulleys, they don't come with replacement rods when you have to drill out rivets. Tim supplied those with his kits and already cut to length. I would suggest buying solid brass rods. Hobby stores usually have them. 1/16th diameter is usually the size

Ok no pulleys from Tim, so what size pulleys am I going to need if I go to YCC any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Be fore warned that the K+S bass 1/16" rods are a tad over 0.0625' (0.06335") whereas the steel 1/16" rod is 0.06115". I've found that the YCC brass pulleys vary some also. I've found that some pulleys have won't pass a brass rod through the center whereas the steel rod will pass through the center. Also the YCC pulleys (13mm) vary in thickness (0.056" to 0.062") along with varying diameter (0.510" to 0.514")
Since you didn't state which model you where looking to replace the pulleys on it's hard to give more help.

Hi Owner,
For the LG/LR 1750 you will need 13mm and maybe some at 10mm (not quite sure on that need to have a look at my LR1750) oh and by the way you will need plenty, as well as a good selection of brass rod or tube, I find 1.6mm and 2.0mm will just about cover most applications, also recommend a good set of micro drills ranging from 1.2mm up to 2.2mm. Thanks for the link bigbill 54, but they won't ship to the US. Just have to resolve myself to the fact that I will not be getting one of Tim's LR 1750 pulley sets.

Well... you could - I'm sure one of the members here in the UK would be happy to ship the pulleys to you, acting as proxy. It won't be cheap to ship to the US though as I'm sure all that brass will be heavy.
The only thing with these pulleys is that the price is going to be through the roof, totally inflated because of rarity. Are they really worth that much money?!
