Just wanted to post some photos of a project that I finished up today. I received the HiMoBo model, disassembled it, fixed some imperfections, cleaned up some fit/finish issues, stripped/prepped for paint, repainted gloss white and gloss charcoal grey, reassembled and decaled.

Awesome work, Greg. Love the white paint schemes - just wish I could afford them!

Greg,

Is it safe to assume with all your knowledge there isn't really a solution for the hydraulic cylinders?

Thanks for the kind words

Weserhutte,

Unfortunately the blade is just too heavy. The cylinders are metal with O Rings that provide the resistance. On top of that the piece that connects the hydraulic cylinders to the dozer itself rotates as HiMoBo only attached it with one screw on each side. The only way that I could think of fixing that would be to drill another hole and pin the blade in the desired position (which may detract from the appearance of the model)

Great work! Now what is that I see in the background of the before pics.... could it be... water tankers?

Thank you all for the compliments. Those are Mega PT 12000 Portable Water Tanks in the background.
