Here are photos of the completed truck. It started life as a TWH HEMTT M987 A2 Series truck.

As many of these that I have seen over the years, I've never seen one set up as a tractor. Of course I have not seen every unit produced. I love it!

What are you going to hook it up to?

Thanks for the comments even you Craig! I do have a MIM Autocar kit that I'm working on.

This truck is shown in the brochure that you receive with the TWH HEMTT. Fifth wheel tractors do exist.

I haven't found a trailer yet that I like to go with the truck. I would entertain some suggestions if you have any.

That is one beast of a tractor. I guess traction will not be an issue. The tan paint looks nice throughout.

Sweet conversion Robert! Here's the M983A4 LET version and a couple with the M870A3 trailer.
You hit the nail right on the head with this one, good job and TFS

Nice Robert! You got a trailer in the works? The original cargo deck might be cool as a trailer perhaps......just to give use to that part of the model, that was removed.

Thanks again for your comments.

I think that the trailer shown in Save1er's photos would be the one to use. Info can be found on line now that I have the M870A3 designation.
