Two weeks until the show! Who's attending??

Tom also pointed out the other day that there will be a building implosion nearby in downtown Buffalo at 7:00am on the day of the show. I'm planning on going to both, should be a fun day Applause

I'am driving down from Toronto Ontario, would love to see the implosion, just have to leave a little earlier like 4 in the morning. LOL But I am looking forward to the show,my first and visiting the shop down the road.

Yes I own a lot of Norscot Cat models they remind me of my many good years working for a Cat Dealer. Going out to the back forty after work playing with used equipment just moving dirt around

Just wanted to know if anyone is planning on going to the implosion of the hospital tower and where the public can watch this happening?

Ross,

It will be hard, the news is urging the public to "please stay away!" And watch it on TV. It's hard to explain if you don't know the area well, the old hospital is surrounded by small condo buildings, tall trees and neighborhoods. Not sure how far of a radius they'll have closed off for the implosion itself and how close you'll actually get to it.

Going to try and make it up with the concrete plant I've been working on, but unfortunately I can't stay long due to a family commitment.

Hey Dave,

I know that drive all to well!! Almost 5.5 hours each way, I sure hope you're able to spend more time here than driving to and from! Wink

Found out where the public viewing point is, it's at the intersection of West Delavan and Delaware Ave, not too far away. They will be closing streets off starting at 3am and it will also be live on TV.

I'm heading out tomorrow morning for work and will be back on Thursday, should work out just perfect for the show!

I am going to be crossing the border at Fort Erie early to beat the usual big lineups, can anyone recommend a good place for breakfast close to the show ?

Original pancake house in Williamsville, it's still on Main Street and less than 10 minutes away.
