Will there ever be a 1/50 model of a original D7E 46A serial or a remake of a D8H 48A? First Gear made the HD21 which was popular but I am sure there were many more Cats sold. Especially here in Ontario. That was our most visible machine on any site.

Now what about office trailers, They are on every site. They come in many sizes from 18 X 8 up to 60 X 12. Does anyone want to tackle building such a thing? I can help with designs.

Confused Confused

I am all for that. I have been searching for a low track D8 or D9 with more than toylike detail for quite a while. Actually there is very little in 70s-80s construction and even less in matching American trucks.

I built an office trailer a few years ago. The trailer has a full suspension system and, the tires are scratch built from styrene. It was a fun project and not too difficult to build.

It's pretty sad when the only modeling tool you own is a box cutter.

If the only tool you have is a hammer, you start to see every problem as a nail. Abraham Maslow

Nice job. You nailed it on the nose. Complete with propane heat. What you used for the walls did it come line like that? or did you have to scribe the lines yourself?

You can get styrene that is already like that for the walls makes it easier and adds lots of details. Also I'm going to send you a pm.
