Yeah but pretty cool lol. If yall ever make it out to wyoming let me know, we got great benefits and very competitive wages. We have several different divisions including quarries plus we stay pretty busy in winter time

We have about 3" of frozen crud, if you would like to call it snow. Lol that is all we have so far this season.

Thanks guys. Most of the local companies do not mind the photography. They know the machinery is rare to see and many people enjoy taking pictures of it. I make sure not to take photographs where it is not allowed. I also try to not get too many people/faces in my pictures.
The EX1000-1100 is to far beyond where I was allowed to go. 75% of my photographs are taken from the cab of my Concrete Mixer while I'm at a stop or finished doing my work. Safety First. Obviously on a site like this there are boundaries that subcontractors are not allowed to cross.
The EX1200 is a really impressive machine and seeing it so close in person really puts the size of my new ZX870 in to perspective as well as how much bigger the larger shovels in the mining industry are. Seeing the EX1200 today has rekindled my desire to buy the Joal PC1100 face shovel and I've found a great price on one, just need to sell some things on Craigslist first. I wish there was a model of the EX1200 but the PC1100 will do fine even though it's a simple models in comparison to others. I like the size/class of the 1100-1200 shovels.

Since the Hitachi EX1200 was seen at a Paving/Construction company, is that pile it is working asphalt millings?

RMS, I believe it is and asphalt mailings mountain. The material the haul trucks were loaded with was the same dark black color and all they were doing was moving the pile next to the crane to the other side of the conveyor belts. I was on site pouring footing for new conveyor belts to be built on. This is one of many quarry's that this company has in the state. Continental Paving does all the major site work jobs. I'd say they also do75% of all highway and roadway paving jobs in the state. I was talking to one of the foreman who said at any given time they have over 150 dump trucks on the road. Some of the models I buy are based on equipment they use. One day I want to build a dio after them and have tiny company graphics made to match theirs if possible. These pictures were taken at the Litchfield NH location. I have not been on the Londonderry property yet. I've only driven past it, though I hope to at some point because it's their main location and I'm sure there is some awesome equipment to be seen as well.

Those Volvos are great looking. Tonkin made a good looking model, though in 1/53 scale. I see many around here. It must be a great truck for over the road. CAW

I see as many Volvo OTR trucks as I do Freightliners when it comes to fleet trucks. My friend who drives for FedEx loves his day cab. I really want one of the WSI versions of this truck. DHS has one cheap but it's got the gaudy American flag paint scheme, I tend to like regular over the road models as well as heavy haulage.
