Nice pic and nice model but what a 'Gong show' machine.

Hard enough keeping a Marion running with just one set of ropes.

Thanks for the pictures, I have just finished a 1/25th scale Meccano model of the Energy Fuels machine after it went to Ulan Coal in Australia. These were very advanced machines, with lots of clever idea's. Their variable digging geometry made them superb digging machines. I think given a modern update they could prove a real match for standard rope shovels, possibly in a hybrid mode. I have the brass model of the 204 shown, its my favourite model, I went to Holland to pick it up about 20 years ago. I'd put some photo's on here but its such a pain, can I send some to you Randy? My mate did the Lemington mine machine as well. regards Mark
