Hello guys -
CCM has contacted us - the retail price for the 6020B Excavator will be $549.95.
They are still available to order - see part number CCM6020 on our website.

Thanks for the heads up Chuck. It will end up being £550 in British Pounds by the time the Customs vultures grab their share!

Ha Ha Ha Gavin......I realize you've never been too concerned when I've talked about prices of models and what I can and can't afford. lol CCM would undoubtedly have a higher price tag. Quite honestly I think Tonkin would be a great fit. I haven't easily understood the complaints others have had with the 775 model. Either they just got a lemon or have far too high a standard. I bought three of them and even though a mirror came loose from one while unboxing it and another had one of the stirrup steps knocked off I think they're great pieces.......one of my favorites. I have gotten plenty of models from all the various makers with some sort if flaw over my years of collecting and personally have come to realize that it's part of the way things go. Anything too severe and yeah I'd want a refund or replacement etc. CCM is a wonderful model maker no doubt but truthfully I think Tonkin deserves some credit and I for one have looked their price point and most all of their 1/50 lineup.

CCM will be just fine to do the 777G if I was a betting man I'd say that we will see a 777G from CCM. The 6020 is useless without something to fill up. My Tonkin 775G came with every lemon off the tree. Although I think Tonkin would do a nice 777, it has to be made by CCM.

Ha I couldn't get my greasy hands on one in the second go round of 777 bliss which was produced by CCM. And I really don't want to play that game again. Remember CCM did a 777 already and while they are doing some modern pieces, it's mostly been the classic plant. I really feel like TONKIN is a close competitor in detail, fit and finish. And with their pricing point and production numbers I could actually get my hands on a couple for what I would spend on a CCM. Sorry that I simply can't just agree with you guys. I think Tonkin could do up the 777G quite right and it would still fit within their current theme of CAT models. I'll be hoping quite desperately that I get my way lol

Got an email from such and such,6020 should be available in Oct,price to be around €550/600!!!!
Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?
... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt
The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Martin, Since you will not buy one at our host simply because the taxes will be too high=>:-< (a problem for a lot of people in the Euro zone). And the Dollar/Euro rate is not in our favour Might be an option to buy the Cat 6020 at one of the dealers on the mainland. Prices should be around the same as the us dollar so I expect them between 580 an 600 euro. With the current euro/pound rate (600 euro is around 436 pound) it could be interesting to buy them on the mainland. The German dealers (except Spiel+modellkist’l but he is way to expensive) don’t have their prices up yet but they will come soon. I don’t expect that the prices between the German dealers will vary a lot because they do talk to each other so there is not much completion. Cheapest seen at a French dealer for a price: €549,95
