Oh wow! Well if you ever see a guy in a Redimix truck waving and blowing air horns like a mad man it's me. Thanks for the correction on the coal, I knew the cement came from Qubec but was unsure about the coal.

What are the details on the trains that come up this way? Type, specs, how many? I think last one I saw was 3 in front 1 in back but I may be mistaken.

Only thing I know about the coal is it comes from PA, usually 85-90 cars and 3 engines for power. Far as I go is Binghamton NY, I don't make it that far up north to NH!

That's still very cool that you work for the same rail way I see daily. Such a small world we live in. Unfortunately ive heard rumors that the Bow power plant is on the list to be shut down. Especially if the norther pass project is cleared and Hydro Qubec can send electricity straight down the north east.

Bob, how close are you from Shire Oaks? That's where this coal train comes out of; Shire Oaks> Conway> Ashtabula> Buffalo> Binghamton> Albany> Ayer> Bow.

I've heard that this is the only coal fired power plant on the east coast or the north east coast.

I believe it is. You should see the piles of coal and by product (gypsum) they are mountainous!
