I think a good backhoe model is due, as well as a cool 3/4 ton or 1 ton pick up truck and flatbed gooseneck trailer. I am more simple I guess.. But I have always wanted a pickup and gooseneck combo in 1/50th. And I don't mean ertl's 1/64 stuff I mean like sword or someone doing it so it's detailed and right.

I'd love to see a 1/50 model of the Terex CC6800.
Hopefully, the CC3800 shows things are moving in that direction.....

1/50 or bust Mitch makes a fantastic 21000, but it's 1:48.

Yes, yes, yes, and yes. The 939c is pretty much a D5c trackloader, correct? By that rationale, is a D4C with a frontloader a 935c?

Paul Rp Yes me to! as long as there is the Sarens version! It would be nice to see a Lampson ltl 1100, 1200 or 1500, I know CCM done a very small run of the LTL 1100 in 1/48 scale but are hard to find and a bit pricey. Stephen.

I would like a Hitachi EX8000 front shovel in 1:50 scale
Yes I own a lot of Norscot Cat models they remind me of my many good years working for a Cat Dealer. Going out to the back forty after work playing with used equipment just moving dirt around

How about a 3x3x3 heavy haul trailer and a rail lowboy trailer. I feel that most of our requests go in one ear and out the other with the mfgs. Two years ago, I spoke with the gentleman working the the First Gear both at the Indy show, in regards of the possibility of having First Gear make a rail lowboy trailer. He had no idea of what I was talking about and seemed to care less. I realize that new models do not come cheap, but when I see some of the new ones that come out, I wonder where they get their ideas.

Let's see, the last time I answered this question was 12/10/13. I'm still pretty much barking up the same tree...Not a lot of changes either - the Gottwald is the 912, but the 850, 680...pretty much anything Gottwald would work.

John - that is a nice looking Manitowoc - what is the story on it? Another Gomez creation?
RMS - I would prefer a lattice boom. The 1000 is a nice model, but there are a LOT of hydraulic crane models out there. Thanks for the input gentlemen!

Ulf, you are correct: the Pierce carrier is by Mitch Gomez. The upperworks is the TWH 4100W (see the knot in the rigging?) for which Mitch designed the carrier to mount. It comes with a cab door, but I guess some vandals must have stolen it in the night. You know how that goes.
