Over the past couple months I finished up a couple more log trucks that I've been working on. First up is the blue and white Pete 379. This was my first time going with something other than black and I'm really happy with how it turned out. The headache rack is 3D printed and the pintle hitch is cast, the rest of the logging gear I scratch built.

Next up is my newest Kenworth T800W. This one looks similar to the first log truck I made before I changed it to a short logger/mule train. Once again the headache rack is 3D printed and I made all the logging gear. I decided to go with a two piece reach for this trailer so I could stretch out a bit farther for hauling 65' poles.

The trucks look great. I then took a closer look at the ground and was really impressed with how realistic the dirt, logs and rocks look. Thanks for posting these pictures! The photography is also very good.

I used some real dirt/dust and rocks mixed with some fine model gravel on the layout for the road and the logs are real fir.

They look great Clifton. Makes the T880 I just put together look like a 6 year old kid built it!

Are you an enviromentist, or do you work for a living?
