The RIDOT has been spot paving our road in preparation for stone sealing. Some parts of the road are crowned up pretty good so, I guess that they are leveling the road up in places. The road was torn up and repaved about 20 years ago but, New England winters and heavy trucks have taken their toll. My big fear is that the berm that is at the top of my driveway that has kept water runoff from the road out of my yard is now even with the new asphalt. I have a small manhole in front of the garage that takes excess water runoff in times of heavy rains and I hope that it will still do its job. Here are some pics of the work.

It's pretty sad when the only modeling tool you own is a box cutter.

If the only tool you have is a hammer, you start to see every problem as a nail. Abraham Maslow

Thanks for pics. I feel for you about berm.road looks similar to where we live, my driveway is stone so water runs off and is absorbed. Dot does some ,ugh? ,things at times. I know I see them here.
