Hey guys,

I'm working on a Mt. Arthur Caterpillar D11R dozer model and I am having trouble finding good photos. I found a few by doing a Google search but they all seem to be small. I seem to remember Richard Fowler building at least one Mt. Arthur D11R model. Did anyone save any of those photos? Or have any photos of the real dozer?

Thanks in advance,
Greg

This is all I could find Greg, these are probably the ones you already have though:

Seems like anything that was uploaded by him is a dead link now.

This Dozer was sitting in our bottom yard for about 3 months. Now getting scrapped.

I believe I like your version better in regard to the thinner handrails. Also, the photo-etched walkways would be my favored option too (don't forget an access to the fuel tank cap..). :d/

I am eager to see how you will come along with the ladder. Looks to me like the most challenging part for this custom project.

Great job so far, good luck and keep us posted! I really like that livery.

Stephane

Hi Greg,

your work on the D11 looks super-clean and super-yummie so far! Looking forward to see further steps on this model.

Can anyone please explain for what the rails above the engine deck are used for?

Cheers,
Max

If I recall correctly it is a tie-off system for fall protection for service work.

LMAO !!!

Yes I own a lot of Norscot Cat models they remind me of my many good years working for a Cat Dealer. Going out to the back forty after work playing with used equipment just moving dirt around
