I was waiting for my wife to come out of the local CVS when this 2016 ZO6 Corvette backed in beside me. The driver was probably in his mid sixties and had just picked the car up the day before (it had 320 miles on it). It had a 6.2 L 650HP engine with a seven speed trans. He told me that he had not had a chance to find a deserted stretch of road to have some fun with it. I could not get over how MASSIVE the disc brakes are on the car. I didn't dare ask but, I bet he emptied a goodly portion of his bank account to buy it. It looked sleek sitting beside my wife's grocery getting Mazda SUV!!!!
