Just some photos of two custom excavators that I will be displaying at the DHS open house. I started with Diecast Masters 390F excavators, completely stripped and cleaned up the models. They both got new doors (the opening doors on the model looked terrible), and scratch built booms and sticks. The boom is a 32' 10" Reach Boom, and a reach stick. The third member Labounty shear is one of Eric Pioszaks. The one with the third member shear still needs it's cab guard but I thought I'd post photos of that one as long as I was posting the one with the bucket

Hope to see everyone at the open house!

Greg you always manage to out do yourself. That long reach build is unreal. true perfection. Can't wait to see these at the show!

Those look really good.
If you were thinking of making any more of those booms and sticks I would be interested.

They look great! The paint finish is so much nicer and shows off the detail very well. Can I ask what you use to fix the hydraulics lines down on the boom please? Do you have a close-up photo of the fixings please? At the mo I use brass wire and make styrene housings, but if I can get results like yours, I'd rather change to styrene rod.

I can't wait to see one of those sewer boom machines at the show. You do such top notch work on those models.

Hi Greg, beautiful work with the fine brass and an excellent upgrade. Thanks so much for sharing the behind the scenes shots. Take care and all the best.
