Thinking of doing a mine site dio.
In particular, an Erection pad, haul road and ramp dio.

Anyone have links or pics of what they have seen over the years?

An erection pad.. hmmmm ;)

Seen afew 1:1 build pads in my time, wouldn't be too hard to do, windrows around the boundary with some access points points either end and some blue cones, what sorta area you thinking?.. bigger is better but you'd struggle to get a 1:50 scale version unless you use a pool table as a base maybe?

I agree with rare ss that a formal erection pad done in 1:50 would require a lot of real estate. How about something like a service area inside the mine near the working face like these guys from France created?

It is nicknamed "LorraMine", a 8 years project so far, never ending...

There was a very interesting mining diorama from Norman (in UK I think). Haven't heard nor saw anything from him for over 10 years, what's up about it ?
Robert, please check your PM's
