Changes in my display case

When I really started collecting models I filled a large display case with my favorite surface mining units. They represented products from 6 companies: Bucyrus, P+H, Letourneau, Terex(O&K), Komatsu amd Cat. As of today my case is down to 2 manufacturers but I havent changed any models: Komatsu and Cat. How long until there is just one company in my cabinet.
