Have been kicking this idea around for a while now. It is a machine we send around with a paving crew frequently, so I decided it was time to make one. If you don't know what a Broce Power Broom is here is a line to their site. http://www.brocebroom.com/Building the frame. Starting on the cab.

I've been wondering when someone was going to make one, such a primitive but important piece of equipment for any paving fleet. Really looking forward to seeing the finished product. "It's O-gauge or no gauge..."

This is really cool man, our forum was looking pretty quiet as far as custom builds go, this was a much needed thread! Keep up the good work!

Great work as usual Ethan! But I would expect nothing less. Can't wait for the finished product. These are an important part of any paving job

So after some trial and error on painting the windows it is as finished as I will ever get with it. It is far from perfect, but it is better than no broom at all.

I think it looks better from about four feet. Good for pairing with a mill Run around with a water truck. Late evening equipment moves.

I'm in the process of making a broom for a skidsteer and one for a wheel loader. Just wanted to know what you used for the broom? Looks good!

This is really cool Ethan, good job. I really like that you picked something completely offbeat to build, yet something so crucial on a job site. Way to think outside the box.
