Anyone done any custom painting of a 4100 model? Would like to see pics, have done a couple little paint jobs, thinking of building a ringer out of one of the orange Kokosing models, orange and black would look pretty cool.......and possibly a 4100 tower in Lampson blue

Mate for the red/yellow ringer

Hi

Really like the red and yellow on the tower , only red is a bit boring.

I did a little , also a kokosing only added a jib an extra boom section in black , although now a see the jib in orange i have to say i like that a lot also.

Kokosing modifications

And a ringer , not a particular company but based a little on the 18000 from demont and Aguado.
Looking forward to see your pics from the kokosing ringer

I've got Brent's rendition of the tower in weathered AB colors. Less rust on this one. Even more beautiful up close than in the pictures.

Not a repaint, but a different take on the standard model. The Pierce carrier is by Mitch Gomez. The cab door has since been re-installed.

The weathered 4100's are just amazing, the ringer is my favorite. The realism is unmatched

I like the red and white ringer, my Lampson ringer is similar but more because I cant find the correct extention set. Well get some paint matched and make it all blue soon...

Eef, thanks for that picture! Definitely looks like the same carrier, in white. Same driver's door, and everything (except a bumper weight - I've got mine displayed on a black surface, so the weight didn't show up too well).
Are those guys using the American as a fishing pole? It looks like they are sitting on the edge of a pond, but maybe that's a concrete wall in the background.

Picture is from JoeE from a very old DHS topic with some more info from this carrier as well.
