Hello guys,

Here are a couple of Mack Truck "thoughts for the day".

- WSI USA sent me an email today with this photo...

- Sword Models has renewed its Mack License... and I really like this photo....

You will never catch me announcing a project too early. You will have to wait and see what happens!

Chuck

Bring on the bulldog! Woof!

I hope this project gets off the ground as these are amazing models and I'm certain there are plenty of collectors who would appreciate an opportunity to own this exquisite model.

Any chance we'll see some WSI North American models to compete with the First Gear Rotator Wreckers?

Also, will there be any consideration of the HET civilian version, as Bay Crane has a couple 1:1 versions painted in their stunning red livery.

Thanks, take care and I look forward on how this thread develops.

Oh yes bring on a Super Liner or a Titan! It is time for something new.
There have been enough Kenworths, Petes, and Granits.

How about some DM600 and DM800 Macks??? I just put together 2 of the DM600 trucks, one as a tractor and the other as a 10 wheel dump truck. The color combinations are limitless as they can be done two tone or one color. The ones I just did are in 1:25 scale but it would be nice to have some in 1:50 too!!!

Dain

I'm a kid at heart, so I will play with any model construction vehicle from 1:87 scale to 1:1 scale!!!!

Age is a state of time NOT a state of mind!!

Being in the home of the Mack Truck Capital of the World (Pennsylvania), I am a huge Mack Truck Fan. Best working trucks out there.

I am all for seeing a Superliner in 1/50th scale, but I was thinking for it to look more like the one below. This is also a working truck too.

Thank you Chuck for such great news. It was forth coming and the timing has arrived for us collectors to have another batch of these Macks. Reading the part where it states the Mack license is renewed I look forward to see the Mack Terra Pro series make an impression into the production line whether is a concrete pump, roll off dump or any other construction application. Will be watching to see how developments unfold.

Not to be the rain on the parade here but it would be nice to see the Mack Granite redone but as the most current model available today in the real market as I feel the sword model is outdated from years back. If you are taking suggestions a Granite with set back front axle is a nice touch along with a Titan heavy load spec.

I would really like to see a 3 & 4 axle R Model Mack with a steel front end, Mack Titan, and a super dog with a V8 would be top of the list. There were a lot of superdogs around Chicago in their day: Catom Trucking, R&K Cartage (Harry W. Kuhn), Press Express, Palumbo, Budron, Art Brachman (Detroit) and LACO FD.

I would also love to see an Aussie spec Mack, but I guess that would need to come from Drake Collectibles.

Not if Volvo don't agree to it.
