Hey all I am new to the model world I bought a lr 1600/2 and I was wondering how to reeve the luffing jib I really am not understanding the instructions. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi and welcome,

Hopefully the following will help you. Sorry the photos are not the best but I think you will get the jist of it.

1. Line comes from this drum:



2. Thread the line up the boom to the first sheeve and go over the top. You then go under the next one and up the inside of the first luffing lever:









3. Thread the line through the top of the luffing lever lattice work:



4. Finally go over the offset sheeve first and straight over to the first sheeve on the 2nd luffer arm. After this it is just a straight forward L-R reeving and tie it off after the last sheeve on the RH side:





You should end up with something that looks like this Smile

Thanks your diagram made it make way more sense than the instructions did lol
