OK, guys need a little help, I am looking to find the grey paint or something that matches pretty close to the Grey color that the stick of a EC300E Volvo excavator is painted. I know I could go to a Volvo dealer to get some, but I don't have one close by. Just Cat and Deere dealers close by oh and one Komatsu dealer. Didn't know if anyone has tried to match the grey color yet. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!

I'm gonna take a guess and say that you're gonna want a spray can? If so you can take the bucket of the shovel or the whole thing and bring it to a automotive paint supply place and ask them to scan it, that gives you the exact colour match. I know this works and it may cost you to get a can made but in my experience it's the better way to go. We recently repainted a 1:1 hydraulic hammer at work and got the colour from a paint chip off the hammer about the size of a 1:50 excavator bucket, worked out perfectly.
Hope this info helps you out.

Thanks Cat938K. It didn't even enter my mind that I could do that. Thanks!!! I am adding a thumb to my EC300E Volvo. So spray can should work great.
