This has been ongoing for a while, some of you may have seen the pics on Facebook but I know some aren't on there.

Still a bit more to do like paint the plastic grills and detail the pipework.

Great work as usual Martin! Maybe some day I'll work up the nerve to detail one of the 9800's I have. By the way, what color did you use on the teeth and wear plates? Mike.

I have to agree I don't think my hands are steady enough to do such a great paint scheme as you have done on yours! I just have to leave my 9800's white LOL.......Congratulations !

Yes I own a lot of Norscot Cat models they remind me of my many good years working for a Cat Dealer. Going out to the back forty after work playing with used equipment just moving dirt around

How did you go about doing the undercarriage access plates? I would like to do the same to my models.

The YCC tracks really do make a huge difference!

They're fiddly buggers. I masked over the existing plates in the molding and cut round with a sharp knife. Once the top was off painted them with just grey primer. Takes some getting right. Trick is a new blade so you dont tear the masking tape.

The YCC tracks are outstanding quality. Turn it into an even heavier lump!

Awesome paint job !! Wish my white one was yellow but hands to unsteady now to even try. I like the yellow much better.

I bought the yellow T264 Haul Truck, big difference !.
