Hello group, just one or two snaps of a Mammoet LTM 1750. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get any closer during the lifting operations but it was still a nice treat to see. I've always been amazed with what they can lift while sitting on a barge. Great shots!

Paul, how do they get those big cranes over from the mainland? Do they use the normal ferry service or do the charter a ferry? Ray...

Thanks guys, and it's actually just sitting on a construction jetty!. Yeh, the mobile cranes just come via one of the freight ships that run on the route from Aberdeen(Scotland). The Sarens PC/CC6800 that was here a year or two ago came in a big heavy lift ship with its own cranes. M2 by JP Moar, on Flickr M20 by JP Moar, on Flickr M15 by JP Moar, on Flickr

Hi Paul,
did you see the fleetnumber of the LTM 1750??. I photographed the Titan on your picture last weekend in Tilburg and Maarheeze in The Netherlands, you can find the pictures in my fb albums LTM 1750 Mammoet.

The registration/number plate is NG63 ONK.

I caught the LTM 1750 and an LTM 1095 leaving yesterday. Unfortunately, they were too close together to get a good shot of the LTM 1750!. Mam by JP Moar, on Flickr Mam2 by JP Moar, on Flickr Mam1 by JP Moar, on Flickr Mam3 by JP Moar, on Flickr

Certainly a lot of rubber on the road in that picture. Great shots, Paul!

Thanks guys, I forgot to say but the mid water tank in my previous photos weighs 156t and the subsea frame is 175t. The LTM1750 is a beautiful crane and it's amazing how it folds away to neatly.
