Just some photos of a second Cat 977L that I finished up today. I started with a Matchbox toy track loader and went from there. Every part of the model got attention. The tracks and cab are from the CCM 983. The loader arms and all of the bucket linkages are scratch built. All of the levers and foot peddles are in the cab as well as loads of other details

Greg, that is such an amazing custom! Thanks so much for showing us the behind the scenes of how you breathed new life into that Matchbox tracked loader.

I hope you've been well. Take care and all the best.

Great kitbashing project here: nicely done.

There's a lot of work in such a tiny little thing, but it came out as a jewel from a rough stone. Wink

Superb collector item.

Thanks for posting the finished products Shay! You gotta be proud to own them. Just more fantastic work by Greg! By the way, those 977"s were great loaders to operate. When I first broke in we were still digging basements, foundations and even house demolitions with them. I know some contractors in my area wished Cat still made them. Mike
