I saw recently that First Gear has released some Volvo VNR 300 Day Cab's in 1:50 scale. They have also released a tanker to match, the delivery date says May-June but I'm unsure that they are indeed 1:50 they look like 1:64-1:87 judging by pre-production pictures.
Personally I hope First Gear makes some Volvo VHD 200 dump's in an axle back configuration.

Pics on their site look pretty nice. Wonder what trailer they plan to offer with it or if a 53' van is in play here.

At the MATS First Gear had a booth with a sample of a 1:50 tank trailer and a van. They told me there was a new 1:50 truck coming as well, but would not reveal what it was, but now we know. They also had a new 1:64 dry bulk tanker and when I told them they should do those in 1:50 as well they said that they had gotten that response from quite a few people there.

A dry bulk tanker would do well. Would like a few myself. The Volvo I can see mated up with a nice van trailer or shown with one of the sword schneiders I have. What kinda tanker was it food, water or chemical grade or fuel style?

Looks just like the 1:87 one, whatever that would be. Don't know my tank trailers that well. There is a pic on their facebook page, I'll try the link thing but I'm not very good at that stuff. The 1:50 trailers are on the top center shelf. https://www.facebook.com/FirstGearInc/photos/a.303817839733498.71769.166779650103985/1243899599058646/?type=3&theater
