Here's a great review of my radio-controlled tower crane RC model in scale 1:50 with functioning climbing equipment and travel motors. http://www.cranesetc.co.uk/library/hkreviews/hk2050_03/hk2050_03review.htm

I believe this is only the second diecast fully functional climbing crane produced, first being the Shinsei Mini Power 4138/4603 Hitachi Power Reach climbing crane, which was made about 40 years ago. HK-FunctionsModellbau took an already exceptional model and made it even better, and the most incredible part is you can barley tell it is Remote Controlled. Brings back memories as a kid when I had New Bright's RC Tower crane, I remember my dad putting random pipe fittings in the rear counter jib as extra counter weights.

Absolutley love the climbing function and the fact each section is still removable. Im thinking i might sell my 630 and have this done. That is just too awesome and amazing work

Yes this is my spezialty, all my rc models have this feature, but that is only achieved by a lot of design effort.
Thanks for the compliments.

Hi Hubert, you have truly created a masterpiece with this model and implemented tremendous functionality. I was wondering if you've considered brass or styrene tubing painted in Liebherr yellow and then running the wires inside of that for a wire management option?

Thanks, take care and all the best.

That is truly amazing. What a remarkable engineering accomplishment. Beautifully executed, too!

Thanks again for the compliments! That gives motivation for even greater efforts. I am already working on conversion of some big 1:50 telescopic mobile cranes, like the LTM1500, AC1000 etc. at an even higher level of engineering. But that takes time.
@ Yohn Yes that would be an option for wires other than black. But many black cables are running along the real crane too, and they are also not always very neat.
