Very nicely done. What would be the total load this unit would carry? Thanks

Modelmaniac, It’s a powered dolly. It adds additional drive to the combination. If you look closely you will notice that the front two axles on the dolly and actually diffs. This is common for some applications in Australia. I did a lot of work building side tipping trailers that had their own engine fitted

Thanks for the reply.I can see that some trucks have a bit of trouble pulling that sort of weight uphill.Smile

That is just splendid. Been watching since the beginning. By the way, do you have any common browns in your backyard?

Cheers for the comments guys .
Modelmaniac , BAH nailed it pretty good .
Gd10r , I believe these units can load 300 Ton with a gross mass of around 450 Ton , hence the powered dolly for a bit more push .
Quinella...only snake I've seen in the yard had a fight with the ride on mower when I was doing laps , not really sure what it was.......

kcmtoys , cheers mate . From what I gather there is 2 styles of adding the extra push , motor & trans mounted into the tipping trailer and separate powerd dolly as i tried to copy .
I very loosly based this project on this vid .
