I'm really liking the looks of the Diecast Masters Cat16M3. What is the red tank behind the radiator? Looks like fire suppression equipment to me.

I picked this model up earlier this year and it pretty nice! One thing about that fire suppression tank is that it seems to get in the way of the ripper raising all the way up. Has anyone successfully removed the tank?

I forgot about my CCM 16M. Still in the box haha. Glad you said I may have to dig that out. That DM one does look good. I don't recall the one from CCM having fire suppression though.
