Hey all,

So I decided to gut my Tonkin MT4400 and utilize the engine for the 784C Norscot Tow Haul. The swap required just a few minor modifications. Even though it is not accurate to the real thing, I like it and at least there is an engine in there now.
This is how it turned out:

I probably should have took more before shots though...
Anyways, thanks for looking!

Rivera2171 that came out nice, how about a shot of it on the passenger side with the trailer hooked up and load on it.

Did you put the engine as-is from the MT4400? And; did you consider lopping off the center four cylinders?

Minor mods were required to get it to fit right. I felt that cutting into the engine block may have produced an uneven cut and ugly seam line so I didn't try it...

A worthy project, I've never been able to bring myself to buy a mining truck without an engine - even the mighty NZG 797B.

Was your MT4400 damaged or did you just decide to sacrifice it for the project?!.

Scania V8. The best sounding truck in the world.

Thanks Exkvate3140 and Paul.
The MT4400 was sacrificed for the project. I will sell the remaining parts on eBay some day...
