wildpig1234, I don't own that model so no way to measure both main boom and jib heights but, Ian Webb from Cranes Etc ( http://www.cranesetc.co.uk/library/nzgreviews/788/788review.htm ) gives some indication in his review: " Fully rigged, the crane is around 1.85m tall". I hope this helps. Guy

ok thanks. was just wanting to know the dimension to do some planning for it. was thinking about getting it. maybe i will ask him.
if anyone knows, let me know. thanks. I was thinking it might be even taller than 1.8 meter just because 1.8m is only 90m in 1/50 scale and this crane is supposed to be taller than 90m?

Maximum main boom of the real crane is 98m, so the model is delivered with very close to that. A different boom or jib is needed to go higher. You can find all the permutations here.

The maximum main boom height is 98m, which would be 1.9m at 1/50 scale. But according to cranes, etc review, the height was described as being 1.85m and the review configuration has a jib attached also. So i don't think the main boom in the review model is actually 1.85m by itself.

Note that the "fully rigged" LR 1300 model as reviewed in that Cranes Etc link is the basic version, without derrick and without boom and jib extensions. Later models in company liveries came as all-in-one models. Those are quite a bit taller when fully rigged See here http://www.cranesetc.co.uk/library/nzgreviews/7881/7881review.htm - in the review is says 2.3m. Never took a stand-alone photo of my Van Marwijk model when I had it... but the person who bought it from me did, see here: http://www.bouwmachineforum.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?p=860499#p860499

Yes obviously the two versions at Cranes Etc. have the same height, since Ian didn't install the extra boom and jib section. You asked: what is the maximum height, so I mention that the maximum height is 2.3m with the extra boom and jib section installed. As in the pic of the Van Marwijk version.

As in the pic of the Van Marwijk version. yeah i see the subtle differences with the pic from bouwmachineforum. Problem for me now is that the all in one kit seems so much more expensive from third party owners. They are all sold out on a lot of the retailers There are a few of the regular 738 kits with no derrick or extra boom for a lot cheaper. but the total height is "only" 1.8m max...;....decision... decision....lol...
