Maybe I missed it but has anyone brought up this subject yet?
Unfortunately DHS will not have a booth this year as we were not able to negotiate a deal with the show people for a reasonable space at a reasonable cost.
We tried as Mammoet will be announcing a wonderful new model at the same time as the show and we wanted to be part of that announcement!
Anyone here going to be attending???

I will not be attending but I am certainly interested to see what new 1/50 diecast gets announced at Con Expo. My spidey senses are telling me to expect to see a new Grove or Manitowoc crane and possibly a Link-Belt excavator.

The Link-Belt shop has already stated there will be "first run models" at Conexpo, but I would bet heavily that they are nothing more than existing Replicars Sumitomo models painted in Link-Belt colors, so not really "new".

I had asked around a few months back on the topic but didn't hear much. I will be coming in from Alberta for Wed. to Saturday and hope to find some new pieces to add to my collection. I know its slim but I'm really hoping to add some new 1/87 stuff or even 1/64. So if anyone finds any treasures let me know.
Chuck, will this Mammoet model be at a Mammoet booth or one of the mfg.?

Some changes Convention Bureau is doing some construction so some cranes moved to Las Vegas Blvd. and Sahara and I was advised a shuttle will run between there and Convention site. Paradise down to one lane south bound from Sahara past the entrance to Westgate will cause some traffic problems. Local weather people advising rain chances Wednesday and Thursday.
Chuck; Sorry to hear you are not coming, I have used up all my "GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARDS" so you would be on your own!!

Also from what I understand Volvo is not participating in CONEXPO this year due to the Coronavirus stuff. I saw a post on Facebook from Volvo about it, none of their product lines will be represented including Volvo Construction, Volvo financial and Mack trucks.

Review Journal reports that LITTLE DARLINGS STRIP CLUB is handing out hand sanitizers to all patrons. A little info for those who plan on touring the wilder side of Las Vegas

Roy I believe The Q will appreciate that bit of information. You wouldn’t happen to know if it has a seniors room for him, would you. Steve

They closed a day early. I didn't get there until Friday night. I was robbed. But it's understandable given the European travel ban.

Roy, The Q would like to know if The Little Darlings is still open and that there are plenty sanitizing wipes left. Steve

Can someone tell me what model crane that Sarens had near Con-expo ? It was along the monorail south of the convention center. It wasn't at the new Vegas Raiders stadium on the other side of the interstate. It looked like it could've been a CC 6800. I took a picture through the train window. But there was an advertising screen on the window. The pictures didn't come out.
