Hi guys, I am looking for specific nuts and bolts, smallest in size, for holding attachments together in 1:50 scale.
Can anyone refer me to a brand/website/link please?
I am looking for something like 1/2 to 1" long, 1 to 2mm (or 1/16") diameter. Nuts and bolts. No screwdriver head.

Try looking on model railroad part sites. I have seen those sizes for O gauge locos

Microfasteners.com is another good source. They sell both metric and SAE. Brass options as well. They have hex heads too.

I use Microfasteners brass hex head bolts, washers and nuts in the 0-80 and occasionally 0-90 size. I have small nut drivers to tighten them. I also use button head screws in 0-80 and 1-72 size. I use the brass nut that is the same size as the bolt head, as there is a larger nut also. If you call them, they are very helpful. https://www.microfasteners.com/https://www.micromark.com/Nut-Driver-Set-set-of-4?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIi9mU3oGB6AIVTvDACh0OUASKEAQYBiABEgIBxvD_BwE

Yes, Micro Fasteners is the best place to get the nuts and bolts from!!
The sizes you want are 00-90, 0-80, 1-52 and 2-76 with the first two being used for most things like crane booms and other pins.
Another thing I do is I have threading dies to thread brass rod that I get from Hobby Linc. The rod sizes are either 00 or 0, the 00 is threaded to be the 00-90 but the brass rod is better fitting in the holes on booms. Then after I thread the rod I put a nut on. I also have taps to thread holes for the bolts too, i even have left handed taps to make load binders out of small brass tube!!

You were right, I got 50 screws, 50 nuts, a threading tool and tap for a little less than 70$. I shall be good for a while now... S

Not sure why they appeal to me so much but I really like the look of button head screws. Gregg
