It’s been a while since I last posted.

I’m using my spare time of late to go through my collection and try and rekindle my love of collecting ( Life got in the way ). I was once tempted by the dark side and bought a few Cranes think I have 6 . I removed a LTM 1090 and and LTM 1100/1 from their sleeves and managed to get the boxes mixed up .I noticed that both models have the same Conrad Ref number of 2085 on each of the models and also on each of the boxes. The boxes have identical photos on, the only difference is the LTM numbers on each box.
The models to my very untrained eye look very similar, the only differences I can see is where Liebherr is written on the boom, the shade of yellow on each model, the jib sections and the colour of the deck ( don’t know the correct name for it ) ones grey and ones black. A quick look on Google has left me even more confused as which is the LTM 1090 and which is the LTM 1100/1 can anyone provide any advice or assistance ?

Thanks in advance.

Black deck is the LTM 1090, the gray deck is the LTM 1100.

Yes Randy is correct. The 1090 was made in old colours with black chassis, 1100/1 with grey chassis. I think in real life they had one ballast plate difference, thus the 10 ton upgrade.

Above info is from my friend Christian - encyclopaedic knowledge!

Liebherr had some confusing nomenclature in those days and Conrad were not always accurate with their moulds!
