Looks like they're going with the same goofy pin design where the blade arms pin to the C frame to adjust the angle. It was a detraction on the D8s so hopefully they change that up.

Has anyone who ordered received theirs yet? Got my ripper version. Not bad at all, definitely better build quality than the D8K. Only issue with mine was the manifold on the engine was loose, but I'm chalking that one up to rough holiday shipping, my box looked like it had seen a war. I was hoping to swap it's OROPS with the EROPS from my D8K but they're different sizes (though, I've read 7G, 8K, and 9H cabs on 1:1 machines are interchangeable). Only detail gripe: the grill looks like crap. It's a solid dimpled piece instead of actual mesh. I'll be doing some minor custom stuff on this model down the road. Thoughts on your models?

I bought mine, cat D7G WITH RIPPER, it looks good which is strange that it does not have headlights in the front, but it does have headlights in the rear
the front grill is a pity that it is not photoetched

Got mine two weeks ago.
It is drawing attention in my garage...

This model brought me back 40 years behind... It doesn't make sense with my collection, but I don't care. Cool

I like how the mechanics are already taking the tools and the oxy-acetylene torch to it.

Bah, they don't deserve the attention: they are just nit picking to a great model. Kinda like trying to pick a louse from a nun's bellybutton with boxing gloves.... Teeth

Just to show you how immature they can be at times... d'oh!
