Claus,

Very easy to remove from its base, have done it with several Fire Replica models. Run your figure over the felt on the bottom of the case, you will be able to feel two (2) holes under the felt. Cut an X pattern in the felt above these two (2) holes. Insert a Philips head screw driver through the X and unscrew the two (2) mounted screws.

The Green And Black Color Combination out here in the Boston area is extremely rare there is only one Company out here that has this color combination

Originally I was going to go with the Red/Black combo. Red Mack R models were very popular in my area, my Dad owned 3 Red ones. But the Green one really caught my eye, different from other trucks in my collection. Also the Red/Black combo had Black 1/4 fenders instead of aluminum, I didn’t care for that.

Thanks, just not ready to ruin the base like that. Maybe someday I will give in and do it but I’m going to try and fight off temptations and leave it as is.

Claus: It looks great with the East dump. Do you have a Shinsei three axle, bath tub style dump? I agree that the green and black is killer. CAW

That's an excellent looking model!
I dare say the finest in that scale.
