Hi guys ,

Here is my latest project a joint project with my friend Theron , the American 399 in 1:50 scale.
Was a very nice project that we both enjoyed a lot.
Lots of different techniques and materials were used , hand built styrene boom , part 3D printed crane , Styrene , brass , 3D material .
Dispite the huge distance between us it worked out very well with a lot of fun when it was going on.
He lives in USA , i live in Europe , both American crane nuts.
And after some international package sending everthing fits on both sides of the project 😁😁.
Project is almost done , Theron is going to build another one for a family member.
We are working on the dragline bucket. so maybe built another one or 2 as dragline.
He requested membership here so he will soon be able to reply also.
Firtst set of pictures is the one in Europe , second set is the one in the USA.

Not for sale at the moment, but maybe Theron will consider building 1 more in a while.

No, it is a very thin boom and that would have become a bit too difficult.
It could be, but for now we have chosen this.

Hello, new here but appreciate the interest in this model, like Eef said we had a lot of fun with it. I have given some thought to maybe building a few of them to sell, or possibly providing the boom for a build. Right now I am going to build one for my dad and that will give me a lot better of an idea as to where I want to take it. Looking forward to this forum and getting to know everyone
