Dear all,
I think some of you may remember Alberto. Unfortunately he recently lost his battle with cancer. He was an avid model collector and a huge fan of cranes and heavy-duty vehicles and was able to make his hobby a profession and worked for companies like Aguado, ALE and Mammoet. The model show in Ede was a must for him over many years.

My thoughts and condolences are with his family at this time.

I'm a kid at heart, so I will play with any model construction vehicle from 1:87 scale to 1:1 scale!!!!

Age is a state of time NOT a state of mind!!

I do remember some of his conversions, putting crawler cranes, onto mobile carriers, like the Grove TM9120.I was always inspired by him.I did a lot of conversions, because of his work,I still have some,to do(thanks to him!)

Paul, thanks for sharing. I had been wondering about him and some of the others that have been such a big part of this community. Rest in peace, Alberto.

Man... this is such sad news. I remember looking at his pics before I got my first crawler back in 2007. If I remember correctly, he did some custom models / repaints himself.

This is one example of his influence on me as a collector. This LR1750 is absolutely stunning, and 4 kilos too!

Thank you for sharing Paul. My condolences to his loved ones.
