It's been a while since I bought any models but I came across this quirky little machine just over a week ago and also discovered you can get a model version. I managed to purchase one from the UK dealer for Prinoth and it cost me £151.98/$200(which included eye-watering postage). It's (Edited)1:43 scale and I believe made by Ros. The dump box tips, the car body rotates and the driver door can open. Quality-wise, it's not bad at all (mine has one or two paint chips on the dump box) but it would be nice to see a 1:50 scale one from NZG or maybe WSI. In the U.K. and Europe it costs €102, and postage from Italy would be expensive, Here is a link to the European on line shop, Not sure that will open in the U.S. Euro Prinoth shop Regards Joe

Yes, it is indeed 1:43 scale, my mistake.
I tried buying it from the European website but it wouldn't let me because the UK is (technically) no longer in the EU.
I didn't know about the Canadian online shop but tbh, I'd probably have got stung by import taxes and postage plus the higher risk of it going awol or being damaged.
The basic model was £108 + VAT + postage £18.65 which came to £151.98.
A friend who once owned a large shop where l live said that at the trade shows Britain was nicknamed "Treasure Island".
I think we can guess why.......

I bought one of these models from the Quebec online shop last night and this is one of a handful of times in 20+ years of collecting that I was able to buy a model from a Canadian store, pay Canadian dollars and only pay $13.50 for shipping from Quebec to Ontario. Usually I'm paying high currency conversion rates and shipping costs. Hopefully its looks as good in person as it does in the pictures.

Ross I think you'll like it. The tracks are a little fiddly but once you have them lined up and it's sitting on the shelf they're fine. I prefer the look of it compared to the Morooka model.
