A little research shows that this is a Britains model JCB that you buy off the shelf as a 'muddy' version. This is the most ludicrous factory-produced weathering I've ever seen. My two year old son could do a better job.

How does the mfg spray the paint on the model? Are they all the same pattern? It just look so silly, is it really in demand?

Good question Quinella! I imagine the factory employs chickens with brushes in their mouths - they just 'peck peck peck' all over the model until it's evenly covered. Cheap labour and it keeps the chickens off the streets

Cheap labour and it keeps the chickens off the streets Reason the egg prices are so high. The chickens got better jobs doing the painting I see. Wonder what the hamsters are up to these days since Kia ditched them:d/
