To all,

Many thanks for your interest in this topic.

Denis recently sent me a few pictures of a Mammoet crawler crane mobilization on site:

As you have already probably noticed, there is a lot of US tractors in LorraMine these days:

That's a good looking setup. I really like that green. Is the first axle on the lowboy a smaller diameter tire than the other two or is that just an illusion?

3406E,

It looks like the lowboy first axle has been changed to a smaller one: I'll ask Denis about it.

Question> I haven't opened any of my Heavy haulers. In your pics it looks like they come with drivers in the cab. Is it my eyes playing tricks on me? CAW

3406E,

Deny came back to me on the First Gear model topic; he didn't modify its first axle and just added a protection on the top of it. See below:

This seems to be an illusion only.

I hope it helps.

Craig,

I'll ask him about drivers of the HHR Mack trucks.

Craig,

I had Denis earlier and he confirmed that no driver is coming with the HHR Macks and that they are just an addition, to be modified to fit into the seat: "[...] Sorry about these news and good luck with your recent purchase.

3406E,

Another picture of the First Gear lowboy posted sometime ago, showing that all wheels are the same size:

I hope it helps.

I must admit, I don’t visit the forums very often, but when I do I get as excited as an 8 year old on Christmas morning when I see a new post from GuyM about the LorraMine!
Awesome stuff as always. Thank you sir!

Are you an enviromentist, or do you work for a living?

Rivera2171,

I had an answer from Denis to your question: "[...]

It is an early batch Himobo Komatsu model with easily breakable tracks. To his understanding, later batches are less fragile.

I hope it helps.
