2 old Corgi Toys models - dating back to my youth - being modified to be assigned to the Europe/Middle-East transport route in the seventies. 1- Ford HA 4231 Mk1 Transcontinental 4x2/ tractor (modified Corgi Toys model) and 2-axle sheeted dropside semi-trailer (modified Tekno model):   Main mods include the move of the truck to left-hand drive, a new fifth wheel and mudguards (Heavy Goods parts), Tekno wheels, etc. To be continued. 2- Ford HA 4234 Mk1 Transcontinental 6x4/2 tractor (modified Corgi Toys model) + 2-axle Pacton container carrier semi-trailer (modified WSI model) loaded with a 40' maritime container (modified NZG model):   The 6x4 unit went through the same mods than its 4x2 counterpart:  Regards. Guy

The Berliet TRH tractor seen before, here with a 3-axle Talbert lowboy, is carrying a Sika PM 500 unit used for concrete projection in tunnels (Conrad model):   Regards. Guy
