Jean-Francois produced recently - using a disused Tekno half-pipe tipper body - a tipping semi-trailer for which he made a new chassis:

In line with his usual attention to detail, he couldn't resist building a mobile hand crank for its landing legs, homemade wheel hubs and hydraulic rams for the rear tailgate:

Guy that is nice craftsmanship, love the hydraulics for lifting the tailgate. The landing gear looks great too.

Guy you should see if Jean-Francois could get pictures from start to finish on one of his projects, I bet they would be very interesting.

The tipping semi-trailer in its final version. The WSI IVECO tractor was modified by Jean-Francois as well, its high roof, being replaced by a flat low roof unit:

Guy: Love that Mack 4x2 And the interesting load. Is that a Corgi trailer? Why do you prefer the Tekno kits over the ready built?

Craig,

I think that the semi-trailer is, either a Tekno or a WSI Pacton 3-axle flatbed. Load is made with some electrical parts, found in one of Jean-Jacques "bits and pieces" boxes.
Tekno kits are of excellent quality and about half price of ready-built units. They can be built and painted as per your own wishes, without having to dismantle and strip down paint of a costly model (generally sold together with a semi-trailer, moreover).
Jean-Paul bought a few F700 Mack kits from Bemo Models (that Dutch seller was taken-over by Tekno BV earlier this year) and got them all built and painted by Jean-Francois, to suit his own requirements.

I hope this helps.

The Simba ARFF - produced by Rosenbauer and Titan GmbH in the 80s - had two 625hp engines at rear. With its 1250hp installed, the vehicle of 44 tonnes GVW could accelerate from 0 to 80km/h in 25 seconds and was able to reach a 125km/h maximum speed on airport runways:
