After a few railways locos road haulage, back to some more conventional transport with the delivery of a genset in Holland in the sixties:    Kromhout V6 HF 4x2/2 dropside truck (Lion Toys model) carrying a van Kaick RJ8CF electrical generator - 330kVA/380V - fitted with a Kromhout 4D/125 VD 128 engine (homemade load)  Regards. Move, within the premises of a logistics yard near Anvers (Belgium), of a vehicle recently disembarked from a British ferry:  Terberg YT 182 4x2/2 yard tractor (modified Chinese model of unknown brand) and Crane-Fruehauf 3-axle flatbed semi-trailer (modified Corgi model) loaded with 5 Pasquill pine roof trusses on wooden supports (Tekno load)    Regards. Nice.Busy site.Looks like any U.K. site,apart from the fencing.Here in U.K.,it would be just a plain/bland/usual fence!Is that Scania tractor,a Tekno model?Looks like it.

Craig Craig, I assume that you refer to that model:  On that Corgi Toys Carrimore 12T low loader, I only replaced original Corgi Toys tires by new Corgi Classics ones: the rear axle assembly just slides in and off a special "tongue" at rear of the bed, designed by Corgi Toys. Taskers Little Giant 19T low loader reproduced by Corgi Classics required heavier mods: its "tongue" was removed and square tubes were fitted under the bed. They now slide in slightly larger square tubes glued under the homemade rear axle assembly:  The Taskers Little Giant model fitted with lines at rear was modified the same way, with tubes placed between wheels of each line. This required to have extensions made to Corgi access ramps:  I hope this helps. Guy

The "top-of-the-range" 1976 Cadillac Brougham cabriolet:   For my searches on models real scale, I heavily rely upon a British models sales website, always displaying their models alongside a ruler, which obviously helps to guess their real scale. But I'm not always that lucky. I recently found on a French sales website - happily for a dozen Euros only! - a Teama (!) camping van + boat trailer + speedboat combination, stamped 1/48 on its box and model. When received, the combination was obviously 1/43 or even larger (1/38?):  When placed alongside 1/50 scale persons, one can easily see that the stamped Teama 1/48 scale was wrong. Regards. Guy

Another Dickie model (in 1/46 scale, according to my own length checks) towing a Corgi Toys speedboat (1/48):   Pontiac GTO cabriolet - 1966 version (modified Dickie model) and Sea Lion 1-axle boat trailer loaded with a Glastron Sportsman V-171 speedboat powered by 2x55hp Evinrude outboard motors (modified Corgi models)   Regards.
