Back to Switzerland with a large Swiss plant equipment company:    Scania P124-T410 6x4/2 tractor (Tekno model) and Crane-Fruehauf 3-axle flatbed semi-trailer (modified Corgi model) equipped with an Atlas 125.1 traveling hydraulic knuckleboom crane (Corgi element), a brick grapple and a pallet fork (Lion Toys elements), carrying 14 brick pallets of 28.28 tonnes (WSI parts),  Regards. In Holland, road trial, by a plant equipment hiring company, of an equipment transport combination leased by a local trailer manufacturer:  IVECO AS 440 S57 TX/P 6x2/4 tractor and its Nooteboom MCO 48-03V (VM) 3-axle extendible flatbed semi-trailer (WSI models), loaded with a 1.79 tonnes Caterpillar 301.7 CR tracked mini-excavator with front blade (Diecast Masters model) and its removable working tools (Diecast Masters elements), a 4.58 tonnes New Holland C 238 tracked compact loader (Motorart model), a 2.4 tonnes Neuson 701S 4x4/0 compact skid-steer loader (Universal Hobbies model) and a 2.66 tonnes New Holland L 218 4x4/0 compact skid-steer loader (Motorart model),    Regards. Guy: I love the red Iveco with the equipment. If you remember the Bobcat rig with four pieces of Bobcat equipment, I loved that piece though it wasn't as realistic as yours. Yours also offers different pieces of equipment. Good looking rig. Craig

Craig, Many thanks for your support. As far as I remember, the Wan Ho set you refer to is made of various scales: the tractor is undersized (a 1/53 scale Tonkin crude reproduction?), while the 48' flatbed seems to be a true 1/50, same for the Bobcat units on its flatbed. I have found a few of those semi-trailers for mods: frames under the bed are far too thin and their landing legs oversized, but all should become excellent Dorsey FB 48' units (see one below being modified, with a WSI tractor):  I hope it helps. Guy: That Bobcat Freightliner is touted by at least one "old" Dealer as 1/50 scale. It is a cheap reproduction. I did like the flatbed though you are right about the landing gears and frame. The bed of the flatbed and those gorgeous chrome wheels made it work for me. When joined with a Conrad Freightliner cabover, it's a good looking rig. Be well. Craig

 As Europe is encountering heavy weather these days (above, near Montpellier in South of France - January 2023), a motorway snow plow:    Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3341 LAK 6x6/2 truck, with an on-board genset and a tool front plate (modified Conrad model) and equipped with a Schmidt Cirron SL 30 snow plow and a Schmidt Stratos D 60 covered dumpster/spreader equipment (Conrad elements),  Regards. Remember when it comes to equipment the older and more obscure the better A Cat 225 will beat a 320EL hands down
