Guy: You are right about avoiding license fees. But these are actually pretty good quality for the money. You can buy one sometimes as low as $12.00 give or take. The tank trailer is cool. And the wheels ae super. I probably have purchased three dozen of thses oveer the years. Craig

Craig,

Many thanks for the info on the Citgo model: they are pretty rare (and more costly) on that side of the pond.

Another Mack (fully licensed):

Mack Anthem 64T 6X4/2 tractor and Trailmobile ?????45 2-axle box semi-trailer (First Gear models),

Regards.

Both models are built by Jean-Jacques.

Guy: The Mack Vision trucks are terrific. I used to have maybe a dozen. The quality is great. The various logos were great. I think they are 1:54 scale. As I remember, First Gear made Freightliner versions too. thanks,Craig

Craig,

Sorry to seem to contradict you but the Vision box semi-trailer could just be a 96'' wide 45' long Trailmobile trailer in a 1/50 scale (2.44 meters wide, 13.72 meters long), while First Gear also produce unknown brand 102'' (2.59m) wide 53' (15.6m) long units in the same scale.
I agree with you, the Vision box trailer looks smaller than its counterpart in that case.

I hope it helps.

Guy: Google First Gear 1/54 Mack Vision trucks and you will see some of the various trucks they made. Craig
