I was in the US last week and picked up these two models from Chuck:

TWH Grove GMK5095 Aertssen

TWH Grove GMK5095 Mediaco

Its been a while since I've bought a TWH crane model and had forgotten how good these really are! They do have their faults but overall, I think these mobiles are some of TWH's best crane models.

And whilst I am it, thank you Chuck for the great service!

Think I might have to agree with you, though I do like the Wiesbauers Wink

I'm with you there. I'd love to see the 6400 myself!

I'd also love a 6400, it would just be a matter of being able to afford it if it was TWH Teeth

Yes. There are 2 screws underneath the bottom CW. It is not exactly prototypical but it does work.

CW's sit loose on the deck as there is no where for them to fit into like other models.

Paul, a random question.. Has anyone made a crane in the livery of Krandienst Schulz? I am kicking around the idea of buying a hallamore AC-500 cheap and repainting Schulz orange!

I believe Conrad did the LTM 1160/2 but that is the only one that comes to mind.

My LTM 1800 in the livery of Thomen by YCC turned up just after Christmas and it is a beauty! Not had a lot of time over the last few days but managed to snap a few this morning:

I think this is a really nice version and I can't wait to get the boom on it! I also bought the Derrick and Luffer so I will rig those up some point in the future.

Happy New Year to everyone and all the best for 2013!
