Guy those are great shots of the blast area along with the garage, do you have an idea when we may see some dust and rocks fly.

Steve,

I suspect that you're going to be disappointed, as I haven't seen any real blasting taking place in the LorraMine pictures posted to-date by Denis in the French forum.
That could be an idea for the future, though.

Regards.

Guy tell them the crowd across the pond is expecting a great fireworks display, especially after what we have already witnessed from this post. We are very confident they will not disappoint. If they need Encouraging let us know.

The detail in this is second to none. I can't begin to imagine how small or what the brown boxes are made out of!

The P&H shovel needs to be relocated to another working location. Here it is preparing for the transfer:

As its own cable reeling unit won't be sufficient, another cable transporter is brought in assistance:

The real unit modeled by Michel:

Shovel power feeding is being modified to progress the transfer:

Next time, as the shovel is being relocated, we'll continue with Pascal's photographic reportage in the LorraMine workshop.

That wheel hub (or whatever it is) is fantastic!

Almost looks like they are getting ready to auction away some equipment in the last pic. Better clean it all up first!

It seems that a walkway structure is being erected today in the mine workshop:

As the Liebherr 9800 excavator is brought in, it becomes clear that the walkway was installed for its bucket inspection or repair:

Following some visual inspection, new bucket wearing parts are welded on its edges:

The picture that triggered the scene and was used by Michel to build the structure:

Steve,

It should be completed by now, as its main building and conveyor belt could be clearly identified in the background of an old Pascal picture, posted recently:

But I must admit that have seen very few detail pictures of it so far: a suggestion to Denis for some future scenes?

Cheers.

When LorraMine organized their first move of a shovel:

the mobile generator was limited in power and a bigger unit - seen on a mining site picture - was mentioned:

Here it is, produced by Michel and weathered by Olive:

While electrical testing of the mobile unit is in progress, let's move close to the train loading zone and mining equipment washing area, where a brand new Caterpillar 6090 FS shovel is being erected:
